RentMap is an independent interactive map for exploring rental prices across cities worldwide. It brings together real rental listings and comparable average-rent data in one place.

How the data works

RentMap collects publicly available rental listings from local housing portals and converts the results into a common format. City pages show averages drawn from the listings available in our dataset, while the globe helps you compare individual listings geographically.

Prices are shown in the original listing currency and can be converted for comparison.
Listings and averages are refreshed periodically; the precise timing varies by source and market.
We link back to original listings whenever a source URL is available, so you can verify the details before making any decision.

What RentMap is—and is not

RentMap is a research and comparison tool, not a rental agency. Prices are indicators based on available listings, not a guarantee of availability, final rent, property condition or legal suitability. Always confirm terms directly with the listing provider or landlord.

Help improve the map

If you know of a listing that should be included, you can submit it from the globe. Submitted information is reviewed before it may be used in the dataset.
